Comments
In many other parts of Morocco, the BT term for 'donkey' is šašša (from AT šša, šša used to stop a donkey). In the Riff, šašša is not used as BT for 'donkey'. Rather, it is a BT term for 'shoe' (Iqeriyen). The terms ╔úlulu and luluš can refer to the donkey and to the mule.
